Between 10 and 20 tonnes of commercial mussels was destroyed and ropes for the anchoring of 110 buoys were severed in the incident, the ministry said in a statement.
Repair works on the farm will last around ten days, the ministry said, urging competent Slovene bodies to join in the investigation into the incident.
The ministry said the incident pointed to the need to reach agreement on the sea border as soon as possible and recalled Croatia's official proposal to have the issue solved by an international judicial body.
The ministry today also replied to a note sent by the Slovene Foreign Ministry on 16 December regarding regulations on borders in fishing seas, the statement said.
