BELGRADE, Dec 22 (Hina) - Persons communicating with and offering
logistic support to war crimes suspects Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic have
been identified, but their identities cannot be revealed because the
information is confidential, Serbia's war crimes prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic
has said. "I am warning all those who in any way, directly or
indirectly, verbally or in writing, by electronic mail or carrier pigeon,
communicate with the Hague (tribunal's) indictees that they will be
prosecuted," Vukcevic told the press at Belgrade's Special Court for War Crimes
on Thursday.
He said the job of the War Crimes Prosecutor's Office included
monitoring the movements of everyone who in any way offered logistic support to
war crimes fugitives.
Vukcevic said everyone was aware of the importance of cooperating with
the Hague tribunal and that his warning stemmed from that.
