The Southeast European Era-Net SEE-ERA.NET is a networking project aimed at integrating EU member states and southeast European countries in the European Research Area by linking research activities within existing national, bilateral and regional RTD programmes. The project is financed by the European Commission and managed by a consortium of 15 institutions from 12 European countries.
The Zagreb conference, organised by the Croatian Science Ministry, pooled 130 representatives of scientific institutions, universities, and relevant ministries from 14 countries, as well as officials of the European Commission, the Stability Pact and European scientific and research networks.
