Seks asked deputies to refrain from accusations and rebuttals in tomorrow's addresses, which characterised today's lengthy discussion, so that the discussion could be completed as peacefully as possible.
The heated debate culminated when Andrija Hebrang of the HDZ said to HRT managing director Mirko Galic he should be ashamed of last night's, as well as some previous, editions of the primetime talk show "Latinica".
Hebrang said reporting of the national broadcasting corporation was full of unlawful, disgraceful reports which neglected national consciousness.
Also today, the nonparliamentary party Croatian Bloc (HB) said in an open letter to Galic he should resign because of last night's "Latinica" on the legacy of the late President Franjo Tudjman, saying it had been unprofessional and insulting to the majority of Croatian citizens.
The Association of Disabled Homeland War Veterans (HVIDRA) said in a statement it was embittered and appalled by Monday evening's "Latinica" and urged competent state bodies to punish "anchorman Denis Latin and other responsible persons for their partiality and lack of professionalism".
