ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - A seminar on the pre-accession ISPA Fund
was held in Zagreb on Monday, bringing together Croatian and Italian experts
with a view to establishing new business contacts, exchanging experience and
exploring possibilities of joint applications for EU tenders. The
ISPA Fund supports major investment in transport infrastructure and
environmental protection.
As part of the EU pre-accession strategy, during the 2005-2006 period
Croatia will receive 60 million euros from the ISPA Fund, 25 million in 2005
and 35 million in 2006, according to the Italian Foreign Trade Institute, which
organised the seminar.
The seminar was followed by bilateral meetings of 50 Croatian and 30

infrastructure development and similar sectors.
