The two officials agreed that the cooperation between the two countries' police forces should continue, including in the fight against organised crime.
Ambassador Shamsian conveyed to Minister Kirin an invitation by his Iranian counterpart to pay a visit to Iran to discuss the possibility of signing an agreement on cooperation in the fight against organised crime.
The two officials also discussed cooperation in police work in conditions of war, an experience shared by both countries.
Kirin and Shamsian also agreed that apart from police cooperation, there was room for improving cooperation in other areas, notably in the economy.
