The programme, worth 13.5 million kuna, is aimed at facilitating reform of the state administration, which is one of the basic conditions for the successful integration with the European Union.
Grabar Kitarovic thanked the ambassador for his country's assistance, stressing the importance of an efficient state administration and trained civil servants in the context of EU accession talks, which were launched on 3 October, and of the possibility to use European pre-accession funds and other forms of assistance.
The Croatian minister also underlined that the agreement was the continuation of the very good cooperation between the two countries which started in 2000 with a project called "The EU Alphabet".
Ambassador Kjelsden said Croatia must have an efficient state administration if it wanted to have influence in Brussels.
