A total of EUR5 million have been invested in the new plant, Varazdin Free Zone officials reported on Monday.
Hoegger is a company with 20 years of experience in the development of standards in shaping and pressing meet. The Varazdin Free Zone is a place of largest greenfield investments in Croatia. So far, four factories have been opened in the zone. Two more factories will be opened in February 2006, and by the end of 2007 all ten factories should be opened.
So far, some 100 million euros have been invested in the Varazdin Free Zone. Investors are from Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Croatia.
