The statement said that an international jury saw different project in the past six months and decided to present three, instead of two awards.
The "Buick Riviera" project, based on a Miljenko Jergovic story and directed by Goran Rusinovic, won the award for an amusing and artistically ambitious story as well as for the charm and courage of a low-budget movie.
The second awarded project from Croatia is "Kino Lika", whose script was written by Milan Zivkovic and Dalibor Matanic, who also directed the film.
Also awarded was the "Jemin" project from Bosnia-Herzegovina, directed by Srdjan Vuletic.
The awards are worth a total 50,000 euros.
