"We, European friars at the meeting of the Order of Friars Minor in Krakow, together with the general definitory, send a message to participants in the Washington conference on Bosnia-Herzegovina and all people of good will," the friars wrote in the message in which they urged relevant factors to abandon the concept of the arrangement of Bosnia-Herzegovina which was established at the Dayton negotiations ten years ago.
The friars also call on citizens and peoples of Bosnia-Herzegovina to spare no effort so as to transform Bosnia-Herzegovina into a successful European country with just political, economic, cultural and media structures for every individual and every people in that country.
The friars say that the Dayton-style concept was unfair not only for Bosnian Croats but for all people of Bosnia-Herzegovina in the long run.
Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina are mainly Catholics.
