Representatives of the President's Office, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry and the Defence Ministry informed the committees about Croatia's drawing closer to NATO and the internal reforms and adjustments Croatia needs to undertake, Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Gordan Jandrokovic said.
He added this was the first meeting at which representatives of the government informed members of parliament, the Foreign Affairs Committee, the Internal Affairs and National Security Committee and the parliamentary delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly of what the government was doing in this process. He said it showed parliament's stronger role in Croatia's Euro-Atlantic integration.
