SARAJEVO, Oct 27 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Chief State Prosecutor LazoPajic, who is on a two-day visit to the State Prosecutor's Office ofBosnia-Herzegovina, met in Sarajevo on Thursday Chief State ProsecutorMarinko Jurcevic and the
head of the Special Department for OrganisedCrime and Corruption, John McNair, the Bosnian State Prosecutor'sOffice said in a statement.
SARAJEVO, Oct 27 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Chief State Prosecutor
Lazo Pajic, who is on a two-day visit to the State Prosecutor's Office of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, met in Sarajevo on Thursday Chief State Prosecutor Marinko
Jurcevic and the head of the Special Department for Organised Crime and
Corruption, John McNair, the Bosnian State Prosecutor's Office said in a
statement. Pajic told the two officials that the Croatian State
Prosecutor's Office had certain pre-trial cases regarding the transfer of funds
between the Croatian Defence Ministry and the Croat component of Bosnia's
Croat-Muslim entity army from 1996 to the end of 1999.
The Bosnian state prosecutor's office said the purpose of Pajic's visit
was to discuss facts established by the Bosnian State Court ruling in the
trial of former Bosnian Croat leader Ante Jelavic and the collected evidence
and materials.
The evidence and materials may be used in possible criminal proceedings
against officials of the Croatian Defence Ministry, the statement said.
