ZAGREB, Oct 18 (Hina) - The Bosnian Serb prosecutor for war crimes saidon Tuesday the prosecution had launched pre-trial proceedings forcrimes committed by Serb forces in the eastern Croatian village ofLovas in 1991, when more than 50
civilians were killed, Radio FreeEurope reported.
ZAGREB, Oct 18 (Hina) - The Bosnian Serb prosecutor for war crimes
said on Tuesday the prosecution had launched pre-trial proceedings for crimes
committed by Serb forces in the eastern Croatian village of Lovas in 1991, when
more than 50 civilians were killed, Radio Free Europe reported.
Prosecutor Vladimir Vukicevic told the radio station the prosecution was
cooperating with the Croatian State Prosecutor's Office and the Vukovar County
Court and trying to collect relevant information and discover the perpetrators
in cooperation with military security services.
Ljuban Devetak and another 17 persons, of whom only one is in custody,
are being tried before the Vukovar County Court for the Lovas war crime.
