The government's proposals on the establishment of a permanent state election commission and direct election of mayors, municipal heads and county prefects were sent into the second parliamentary reading.
The parliament did not adopt bills by the HNS/PGS club of deputies on local and regional self-government units and the election of representative bodies, mayors, municipal heads and county prefects.

The session was requested by the HDZ club of deputies following statements by Antun Kapraljevic and Jaksa Marasovic of the HNS.
The HDZ has requested the HNS to distance itself from and condemn the statements.
