Police chief Marijan Tomurad said the police found and confiscated an M-75 hand grenade, the same type of hand grenade which the police believe Rovisan brought and set off in the British Embassy.
An investigation showed that the explosive devices were owned by Rovisan's father against whom charges will be filed.
Also present at the news conference in Sisak was the spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Zlatko Mehun. He said there was no need for the ministry to comment on how Rovisan, a person with a criminal record, could get a job at the British Embassy in Zagreb.
Mehun said that "embassies, international and other institutions hiring Croatian citizens, conduct their own security check-ups before employing people".
