a press release.

to Kosovo on Thursday to take part in a military exercise aimed at
demonstrating the ability to act in case of any crisis in the Balkans, the
NATO-led Kosovo Force said in a press release. The deployment of one
part of the German reserve battalion began today. They will be joined by an
Italian battalion soon.
The exercise will start on September 20 and last a month. It is
intended to demonstrate the determination of NATO and the international
community to preserve peace and stability in the Balkans.
Currently 17,000 NATO soldiers and officers from 35 countries are
deployed in Kosovo as peacekeepers.
