ZAGREB, Sept 8 (Hina) - The guild of fishermen within the Croatian
Chamber of Crafts supports the Ivo Sanader cabinet's plans to go to
international arbitration in order to settle the sea border dispute with
Slovenia, the guild's leader, Tonci Bozanic, told Hina on Thursday.
"We support the government's decision not to negotiate any longer with
Slovenia, given that all possibilities have been exhausted and the negotiations
have become pointless," Bozanic said, voicing confidence that the
international arbitration would be in favour of Croatia.
Fishermen also ask the government to reduce the price of blue diesel of
4.48 kuna per litre to three kuna.
