ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - The Croatian company EIG has set up the firstcombined power plant for a shopping centre in Budapest, and thusstarted with the production of thermal energy and electric power forits first client in Hungary, the
Zagreb Stock Exchange said on Tuesdayquoting a press release by the company. The total value of thisinvestment is 1.5 million euros.
ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - The Croatian company EIG has set up the
first combined power plant for a shopping centre in Budapest, and thus started
with the production of thermal energy and electric power for its first client
in Hungary, the Zagreb Stock Exchange said on Tuesday quoting a press release
by the company. The total value of this investment is 1.5 million euros. The power plant uses natural gas as its propellent, and electricity will
be sold to a local distributor of power supplies.
EIG has concluded a contract with the Hungarian branch of Coca Cola on
the construction of a similar facility. This power plant, worth some eight
million euros, is to be built this December.
The Croatian company holds a 30-percent share package in the Hungarian
HMN Energia company which is to start building a combined power plant for the
Teva Pharmaceuticals company in early 2006. This complex power plant is worth
11.7 million euros
