ZAGREB, July 26 (Hina) - If the weather is favourable, wheat harvestingis expected to be completed in most Croatian counties by the end ofthis week, according to information from county agriculture offices onTuesday.
ZAGREB, July 26 (Hina) - If the weather is favourable, wheat harvesting is expected to be completed in most Croatian counties by the end of this week, according to information from county agriculture offices on Tuesday.

The Agriculture Ministry estimates that a yield of around 500,000 tonnes is expected to be harvested from about 120,000 hectares of land sown with wheat. This is about 25 per cent less than last year, but the ministry says it is sufficient for domestic requirements.

All county agriculture offices say the harvesting has not been completed due to bad weather, namely the heavy rains which they add will also affect the quality of the yield.
