Mesic reiterated his support for the fight against global terrorism, which in his note to Mubarak he labelled "one of the biggest challenges" of today.
"In this respect I once again highlight the importance of immediate action against terrorists and of eliminating the sources and environments breeding terrorism," read the note.
Three explosions in the Black Sea Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh claimed the lives of 88 people, including eight foreign tourists. There were no Croatian victims. A group claiming links to the al Qaeda organisation said it carried out the bombings.
