Grabar-Kitarovic attended a regular Mission meeting and presented the joint activities of the Croatian Government and the Mission aimed at ensuring Croatia's entry into the European Union as soon as possible.
The minister spoke of the efforts being taken by the Government in implementing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and meeting the requirements for full membership of the European Union, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said in a press release.
She also talked about the Government's plan to resolve the refugee issue by the end of 2006 and about the process of reform in the judiciary, electoral legislation, the police, the media and society as a whole.
Vilallonga said that the Mission's activities were directed at providing assistance to Croatia for the start of EU membership talks, and added that he was very pleased with the partnership between the Government and the Mission, the press release said.
