for the town of Gomel, theSwedish-owned Croatian company announced in a press release onTuesday.
ZAGREB, July 19 (Hina) - Telecommunications equipment manufacturer
Ericsson Nikola Tesla has signed a 4 million kuna agreement with Belarussian
fixed-line telephone operator Beltelecom for the delivery of a tandem AXE
telephone exchange for the town of Gomel, the Swedish-owned Croatian company
announced in a press release on Tuesday. This is the third deal
Ericsson Nikola Tesla has made with Beltelecom this year for the modernisation
of the Belarussian operator's infrastructure. The agreed communications system
is to be delivered and put into service by December this year.
Earlier this month, Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a 202.3 million kuna
agreement with Belarussian mobile phone operator JV MDC Velcom to upgrade
Velcom's basic GSM system.
