ZAGREB/THE HAGUE, July 14 (Hina) - The trial of six former politicaland military leaders of the so-called Republic of Herceg Bosna, led bya former prime minister, Jadranko Prlic, is scheduled to start on 1December 2005, the
International Criminal Tribunal for the formerYugoslavia reported on Thursday.
ZAGREB/THE HAGUE, July 14 (Hina) - The trial of six former
political and military leaders of the so-called Republic of Herceg Bosna, led
by a former prime minister, Jadranko Prlic, is scheduled to start on 1 December
2005, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia reported
on Thursday. The trial should begin on 1 December. The prosecution
and the defence should adjust their schedules to this date, judge Alphons Orie
said at a status conference which focused on the situation in the case and
preparations for the trial.
Along with Prlic, also indicted are Bruno Stojic and Valentin Stojic
who used to be defence and interior ministers of the former republic, the
former head of the commission for prisons and detention centres Berislav Pusic
and generals Milivoj Petkovic and Slobodan Praljak, who used to be commanders
of the then Croat Defence Council.
