The two officials stressed the importance of parliamentary cooperation. A delegation of the Ukrainian parliament, led Aleksander Schevchenko, the president of the Ukrainian-Croatian parliamentary friendship group, visited Croatia in May. Parliament Speaker Litvin is scheduled to visit Croatia by the end of the year.
At the talks it was said that Croatia and Ukraine had a shared history and that both countries were in transition and had same strategic objectives.
Ukraine is interested in Croatia's experience in the process of adjusting the legislation and implementing reforms on the path to EU membership.
