The two presidents will discuss the present state of relations between the two countries and prospects for their further improvement, as well as current international issues, including the latest developments in the European Union.
Mesic is also scheduled to meet Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodimir Litvin and have a working lunch with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Three agreements are due to be signed during the visit -- an agreement on the protection of secret information between the two governments, a protocol on access to goods and services markets, and an agreement on cooperation between the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Ukrainian EXIM bank.
Mesic will be accompanied by representatives of 11 Croatian companies.
