Justice minister says no statute of limitations in Jelena Brajsa case

ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Vesna Skare Ozboltsaid on Monday that in her opinion there was no statute of limitationsfor the criminal prosecution of the head of Zagreb's Caritas home,Jelena Brajsa, over the Brezovica child abuse case.
ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt said on Monday that in her opinion there was no statute of limitations for the criminal prosecution of the head of Zagreb's Caritas home, Jelena Brajsa, over the Brezovica child abuse case.

"In my opinion the statute of limitations does not apply to this case and the basic crime is already being processed," the justice minister said.

Minister Skare Ozbolt said this commenting on speculations that the Brajsa case could not be processed because the statute of limitations would be applied.
