PODGORICA, July 3 (Hina) - The Montenegrin National Security
Agency on Sunday resolutely dismissed the BBC's claims that Radovan Karadzic,
the Bosnian Serb wartime leader wanted by the Hague war crimes tribunal, is
hiding near Niksic in Montenegro. Citing anonymous international
security services, the BBC said that Karadzic is hiding in northwestern
Montenegro where he grew up.
The Montenegrin president's advisor on national security, Vuk Boskovic,
dismissed the possibility of Karadzic hiding near Niksic too. "This is
speculation by services in the region in charge of arresting Karadzic and and
attempt to shift the problem to Montenegro," he told Montenegrin media.
