ZAGREB, July 2 (Hina) - The spokeswoman for the Hague war crimes tribunal's Office of the Prosecutor, Florence Hertmann, has denied telling Belgrade daily Blic that Ante Gotovina, the runaway Croatian general wanted by the UN court, is somewhere near Zagreb.

In an article saying that Ratko Mladic, the fugitive Bosnian Serb wanted by the Hague tribunal, is being harboured in Belgrade, Blic quoted Hartmann as saying on Saturday that Mladic "continues to hide in Serbia, like Goran Hadzic. Radovan Karadzic is moving along the Serbia-Bosnia border, while Ante Gotovina is near Zagreb".

"I haven't said anything of the sort about Gotovina, just the usual formulation that Gotovina is an issue for the Croatian authorities," Hartmann told Hina by telephone.
