The head of the Croat cultural union in Slovakia, Rado Jankovic, said that the union had been active for more than 20 years and that it compromised five Croatian cultural societies and six folk groups.
It also publishes magazines and organises events aimed at the preservation of the Croatian language and heritage in Slovakia, he said.
The first groups of Croats settled in several villages in Slovakia 450 years ago, and currently this community has about 3,000 people.
Jankovic said that the Slovakian government supported all ethnic minorities, including the Croats.
Earlier in the day, Kosor met her Slovakian counterpart Iveta Radicova and Parliament Speaker Richard Sulik.
