ZAGREB, June 27 (Hina) - The chairman of the Slovak parliament's
foreign affairs committee, Pavol Paska, on Monday visited the Croatian
parliament where he held talks with Deputy Speaker Luka Bebic, the Sabor's
public relations office reported. Bebic and Paska expressed
satisfaction with the good political and parliamentary cooperation between
Zagreb and Bratislava.
Expressing regret at the postponement of Croatia's membership talks
with the EU, the Slovak official said that all political factors in Slovakia
supported Croatia's efforts to join the European Union.
Paska also held talks with the chairmen of the Sabor's committees on
foreign affairs and European integration, Gordan Jandrokovic and Neven Mimica
respectively.
