Mihail Fradkov and Foreign MinisterSergej Lavrov forwarded to Croatian officials on Statehood Day.
ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - A state secretary for political affairs
in the Croatian Foreign Ministry, Hido Biscevic, on Thursday met Russian
Ambassador to Croatia Mihail Konarovski who conveyed best best wishes which
Russian Prime Minister Mihail Fradkov and Foreign Minister Sergej Lavrov
forwarded to Croatian officials on Statehood Day. According to a
statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Konarovski also presented
Biscevic with a letter which Russian Minister Lavrov wrote to the Croatian
Foreign and European Integration Minister, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic about the
need for reforming the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe
(OSCE).
Biscevic highlighted the importance of the two countries' developed
relations. Commenting on the reform of the OSCE, Biscevic said Croatia
advocated that OSCE become an officiant pan-European organisation which would
follow the path of creating a new common and undivided Europe.
