Juhasz conveyed a message from the Hungarian prime minister that Hungary would continue to represent Croatia's interests in international institutions which Croatia aspires to join, the Office of the President said in a press release.
Mesic and Juhasz also discussed Hungary's experience in military equipment and arms procurement, citing as an example the purchase of Swedish-made Gripen aircraft for the Hungarian Air Force, for which a direct investment was secured through an offset agreement whose value exceeded that of the actual price of the aircraft.
Mesic said that Croatia should use Hungary's positive experience in concluding major procurement agreements, particular those relating to military equipment and weapons procurement, the press release said.
