An expert in Central and Eastern Europe in the Austrian Chamber of the Economy, Franz Roessler, said that direct Austrian investments in Croatia last year amounted to US$2.7 billion. He said Austrian entrepreneurs were interested in investing in Croatia, notably in tourism.
