After his talks with Cukjati, Sabor Speaker Seks said that the meeting of the two parliaments' committees would be a part of efforts to solve outstanding issues.
Cukjati said the purpose of his visit was the continuation of his talks with Seks which they started during a recent summit of parliamentary heads in Budapest.
"We focused today mostly on preparations for a summit meeting of parliamentary speakers from Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia and countries aspiring to EU membership -- Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia-Montenegro, which is due to be held in Bled in June," he said.
Commenting on Croatian-Slovene relations, Cukjati added that some problems in bilateral relations, such as the demarcation of the borderline, should be solved as soon as possible and that such issues must not be an obstacle on Croatia's road towards the European Union.
