ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader andJean-Philippe Courtois, the Microsoft EMEA CEO and MicrosoftCorporation Senior Vice President, on Thursday held talks on theimplementation of several projects in the
development of the IT sectorin Croatia.
ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and
Jean-Philippe Courtois, the Microsoft EMEA CEO and Microsoft Corporation Senior
Vice President, on Thursday held talks on the implementation of several
projects in the development of the IT sector in Croatia. The
Microsoft official and Croatian Assistant Science and Education Minister Dragan
Swartz signed an agreement on the implementation of the project called
'Partners in Learning'.
The Microsoft corporation also plans to formalise cooperation with the
Split-based Mediterranean Institute for Life Research.
One of the projects refers to the establishment of the technological
centre for development in the northern city of Varazdin. This is a joint
project of the USAID, Microsoft, the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb and the Croatian
Government.
