ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - The European Movement Croatia on Tuesdaypresented Slovak Ambassador to Croatia Jan Petrik with the "EuropeanSpeech of the Year" award for his public statements which contributedto the promotion of the idea of Croatia in Europe and the idea ofEurope in Croatia.
ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - The European Movement Croatia on Tuesday presented Slovak Ambassador to Croatia Jan Petrik with the "European Speech of the Year" award for his public statements which contributed to the promotion of the idea of Croatia in Europe and the idea of Europe in Croatia.

The Slovak Ambassador, who was appointed in 1999, won the votes of the Central Committee with his talk called "A Year of Experience of Slovakia's full membership of the EU" in Zagreb on April 20.

Thanking the European Movement Croatia on the award, the Slovak Ambassador said that "joining the EU is Croatia's strategic goal, as was the goal of his country a year ago".
