ZAGREB, May 11 (Hina) - Croatian Catholic bishops, who have gathered inZagreb for a spring plenary session, on Wednesday sent a message tothe Catholic faithful and citizens ahead of local elections set for 15May.
ZAGREB, May 11 (Hina) - Croatian Catholic bishops, who have gathered in Zagreb for a spring plenary session, on Wednesday sent a message to the Catholic faithful and citizens ahead of local elections set for 15 May.

Bishops called on believers and citizens to go to the polls and vote for their representatives, reiterating that participation in elections is both the right and duty of every adult citizen.

They advised potential voters to vote for those candidates who demonstrate personal integrity, selflessness, knowledge, moral virtues, who are sensitive to national interests and who promote respect for human life from conception to natural death and the rights of every human being.
