The society recalls that it had collected almost 43,000 signatures to petition taking off the air the "South Park"-like cartoon which it labelled as a show which hurts Catholics and their values.
The society says it disagrees with the OSCE's position that such a satirical show was an expression of civic and media freedoms.
The society stresses that 'Zlikavci' contained hate speech and something which incites intolerance rather than being an expression of media freedoms. The open letter cites an example from the show when believers were compared to 'excrement', and the OSCE is asked whether it also thinks that Christians are 'excrement'.
The society says that the BBC in Great Britain jettisoned plans for broadcasting a potentially insulting cartoon after it received a petition with 6,000 signatures against that show, and asks the OSCE whether it would recommend to the BBC to ignore the voice of citizens.
