The Board's chairman, Niko Bulic, welcomed the guests, informing them that Croatia had become a very attractive destination for Norwegian holiday-makers over the last two years.
Last year, 32,800 Norwegians visited Croatia, which was a rise by 37 percent from 2003.
The dinner in Oslo pooled over 200 representatives from the Norwegian political and cultural circles.
President Mesic wrapped up his two-day official visit to Norway with this dinner.
Before the dinner, Mesic told Croatian reporters that possibilities for Norwegians to invest in Croatia, bilateral scientific cooperation and the Norwegian system of the coast guard were in the focus of talks he held with his hosts in Oslo.
