Addressing participants in a session on EU enlargement, Drobnjak said the experience which Croatia was receiving from the countries that had joined the EU so far made its integration considerably easier.
Speaking about the partnership between the EU and its member states in the common security policy, Drobnjak said that both sides benefitted from that partnership.
He cited as example the UN General Assembly, where he said the EU's policy could count on as many as 45 votes including all member-states, candidates, countries covered by the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and European countries which are outside the EU but are drawing closer to it.
"Such a force considerably influences the course of debates in the General Assembly as well as the content of its resolutions," he added.
