Earlier today, Kosor met Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Shuzen Tanigawa and EXPO 2005 general commissioner Taizo Watanabe.
Kosor thanked her hosts for assisting in the preparations for Croatia's presentation at EXPO 2005, notably Watanabe, who visited Croatia.
In her address, Kosor described how Croatia conceived its presentation around the exhibition's theme, the metaphor of link between a grain of salt and a drop of sea water.
She said, among other things, that the deepening of Croatia-Japan relations in all areas and at all levels was no longer just a question of politics.
Kosor highlighted the increasing presence of Japan's language and culture in Croatia, and voiced hope that following the exhibition Croatia's presence in Japan would become stronger.
