Competent state bodies submitted reports on operations undertaken to achieve full cooperation with the Hague war crimes tribunal.
Since March 17, when Croatia's European Union entry talks were postponed, all competent states bodies have intensified activities in order to achieve their objectives, Mesic's office said in a press release.
Security agencies, the Interior Ministry and the State Prosecutor's Office exchange information and coordinate their activities on a daily basis in line with the guidelines of the National Security Council and the Council for the Coordination of Security Services.
The National Security Council was informed that the Council for the Coordination of Security Services had considered annual guidelines which set priorities for the work of security services. The guidelines will be defined at the next session of the National Security Council.
Today's session also focused on measures to be taken to counter organised crime. At Mesic and Sanader's proposal, the two councils will hold special sessions on the matter.
The session was preceded by meetings of the Interior Ministry coordinating body, security agencies, and the Council for the Coordination of Security Services, read the press release.
