PRISTINA, March 28 (Hina) - A group of unknown attackers on Mondaymorning assaulted an elderly Serb couple in the village of Crkoleznear the town of Istok, western Kosovo. The couple sustainedlife-threatening wounds, according to
local Serb sources, while thepolice of the UN Mission (UNMIK) did not give an official report onthe incident this morning.
PRISTINA, March 28 (Hina) - A group of unknown attackers on Monday
morning assaulted an elderly Serb couple in the village of Crkolez near the
town of Istok, western Kosovo. The couple sustained life-threatening wounds,
according to local Serb sources, while the police of the UN Mission (UNMIK) did
not give an official report on the incident this morning. The
71-year old Nedeljko Vucic and his wife Nevenka, 73, were beaten at about 07:00
am Monday in front of their stable outside their village which is placed near
local Albanians' houses. The husband and wife were immediately transferred to a
hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica.
The doctor on duty, Aleksandar Bozovic, said they couple sustained
grave injuries to their chests, heads and limbs.
