ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - The Croatian-Bosnian diplomatic commissionfor the identification, marking and maintenance of the border betweenthe two countries held a session in Sarajevo on Thursday, at which itverified three documents
necessary for the ratification of the borderagreement between the two countries, which marks the end of procedureto determine the border between the two countries that lasted severalyears, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - The Croatian-Bosnian diplomatic
commission for the identification, marking and maintenance of the border
between the two countries held a session in Sarajevo on Thursday, at which it
verified three documents necessary for the ratification of the border agreement
between the two countries, which marks the end of procedure to determine the
border between the two countries that lasted several years, the Croatian
Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The statement read that the
commission accepted a report on the work of a joint group of experts for the
identification of the border line between the two countries.
The verified documents create conditions for sending the border
agreement to the two parliaments for ratification.
The statement said that the diplomatic commission also discussed the
functioning of the Neum II - Zaton Doli border crossing and that it reached
agreement to start constructing the border crossing at a joint location on
Bosnia's territory.
