Tuesday received a members of the Association of Anti-Fascist Fighters and
Anti-Fascists who informed him of the organisation of events that will
commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory over fascism, the Office of the

his sponsorship of the central ceremony of this anniversary, which will be
held in the Vatroslav Lisinski concert hall in Zagreb on 7 May.
The delegation also spoke about the unfair treatment of WW II Croatian
anti-fascist fighters, and reiterated their request for equating their rights
with the rights of the Homeland Defence War veterans.
The President said that "speech about anti-fascism in Croatia does not
correspond to the rights given to anti-fascist fighters," adding that
responsibility for this also lied with those who wrongly taught young
generations about the Second World War.
