Committee chairman Ivan Jarnjak told Hina the task force was in the second day of its inspection and that once it was done it would report to the committee, after which the committee would notify the public.
"It has been agreed that no statements will be made until (the inspection) is over," Jarnjak said. "We shall see what they have been doing once they are done. They have a work programme and they stick to it."
The Croatian Journalists Association (HND) recommended to the media to refrain from jumping to any conclusions before the probe is over following yesterday's protest by six journalists against the political and media manipulation and labelling in the wake of their request that the case be investigated.
The HNS informed the media it would not comment on the case until the parliamentary committee issued its report in order to avoid further worrying journalists and the public.
