SUBOTICA, Jan 3 (Hina) - The head of the Democratic Alliance of Croats(DSHV) in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina, Petar Kontic,has congratulated the incumbent Croatian President Stjepan Mesic andCroatian Democratic Union (HDZ) candidate Jadranka Kosor on theresults they achieved in Sunday's presidential election in Croatia.
SUBOTICA, Jan 3 (Hina) - The head of the Democratic Alliance of Croats (DSHV) in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina, Petar Kontic, has congratulated the incumbent Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) candidate Jadranka Kosor on the results they achieved in Sunday's presidential election in Croatia.

"We did not call on Croats in Vojvodina to vote for a specific candidate in the first round, but we will decide whom we will support in the second round before election day," Kuntic told reporters in Subotica on Monday.

In Croatian parliamentary elections in 2003, DSHV representatives competed on the HDZ list for the Diaspora.
