ZAGREB, Dec 22 (Hina) - Annex B, the joint committee for the succession to the diplomatic and consular property of the former Yugoslav federation, met in Zagreb on Thursday at Croatia's initiative after a year and a half, the Croatian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said in a statement on Friday.
ZAGREB, Dec 22 (Hina) - Annex B, the joint committee for the
succession to the diplomatic and consular property of the former Yugoslav
federation, met in Zagreb on Thursday at Croatia's initiative after a year and
a half, the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said
in a statement on Friday. The committee adopted a resolution with
two annexes that were signed by all successors to the former Socialist Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY).
The resolution divides 44 diplomatic and consular buildings of the
former Yugoslavia among the successor-states.
Under Annex 1, Croatia was given three embassies (Vienna, The Hague,
Lisbon), four residences (Helsinki, Madrid, Stockholm, Oslo), the general
consulate in Toronto, and two apartments in Trieste.
It was agreed that the next meeting of the committee will be held in
the Macedonian capital of Skopje on 15 and 16 January 2007.
