VIENNA, Dec 12 (Hina) - Croatia cares for its national minorities and emigrants and will try to endorse their activities, notably in preserving the Croatian identity, the Croatian foreign minister's assistant for Croatian minorities,
emigrants and immigrants, Mirjana Bohanec-Vidovic, said in Vienna on Tuesday at a meeting with representatives of Burgenland Croats.

and emigrants and will try to endorse their activities, notably in preserving
the Croatian identity, the Croatian foreign minister's assistant for Croatian
minorities, emigrants and immigrants, Mirjana Bohanec-Vidovic, said in Vienna
on Tuesday at a meeting with representatives of Burgenland Croats.
Croatian Ambassador Zoran Jasic said the purpose of the meeting was to
strengthen cooperation with Burgenland Croats and find ways of solving their
problems.
Austria has about 50,000 Burgenland Croats, of whom 35,000 live in
Burgenland and 15,000 in Vienna.
Tomorrow, the Croatian delegation will meet representatives of Croatian
communities and emigrants in Austria.
