ZAGREB, Dec 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) Assembly on Wednesday adopted the HTZ's programme for 2007 in which the objective is to repeat the results achieved in 2006, the most successful year in tourism turnover, with
the possibility of increasing arrivals by up to two per cent and nights by 3-5 per cent.
ZAGREB, Dec 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) Assembly
on Wednesday adopted the HTZ's programme for 2007 in which the objective is to
repeat the results achieved in 2006, the most successful year in tourism
turnover, with the possibility of increasing arrivals by up to two per cent and
nights by 3-5 per cent. The HTZ estimates this could result in
about 10.5 million arrivals and about 54.02 million nights in 2007.
Commenting on this year's season, HTZ director Niko Bulic and state
secretary for tourism Zdenko Micic said it had been successful and that this
year's tourism revenue was expected to be EUR6.3 billion.
